The original Downlands Staffordshire Bull Terrier logo was created from this bitch. She was bred by Ann Gatenby and owned by the late Vic Pounds. Ann was one of our founder members and life long president before she passed.
The club was founded in 1989.
Below is a picture of Vic Pounds with Castle Bomber. Vic was a founder member of Downlands and served on the committee. He also judged at Crufts.
In 2025, the club updated their logo, keep elements of the old logo but bringing it more up to date and in line with modern Staffordshire Bull Terriers.
